In addition of being a subscribing member of AQUINAS Online Library Network Affiliation, Hope College of Arts and Sciences is also a member of the AQUINAS Library Network of Librarian. AQUINAS hires professional librarians to support the college curriculum, faculty and students academically
All AQUINAS Librarians have masters’ degrees in Library and Information Science programs or a combination of a Master’s Degree in Education with a Bachelor of Science in Library and Information Science regionally by an institution of Higher education in the United States.
Hope College of Arts and Sciences is maintained by a team of highly engaged Librarians that stay up-to-date in evolving changes in higher-education. The Librarians participate in regular professional development activities and attend national, regional, and state conferences to stay current with the latest developments in the field.
Hope College of Arts & Sciences has an extensive collection of eBooks and databases that support the curriculum, faculty, and students at the Academy. The AQUINAS Online Library Network is continuously available online through the learning management system or the AQUINAS Online Library Network password protected website.

Library Personnel and Librarian Service
Our Aquinas Online Library Platform is staffed by professional librarians. The library director holds the highest accredited education degree, a master's degree in library and information science, and is responsible for all aspects of library operations including library instruction and information. Students may contact the librarian by email for research/reference assistance 24/7 and receive a response within 24 hours or less. The college library director/librarian and the librarian from Aquinas are available to advise faculty on developing research assignments and incorporating library content into the curriculum. In addition, Aquinas Online Library provides information services related to the virtual library to students and instructors on demand, with the support of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to analyzing the inventory on learning resources in order to have it updated, organized, classified and in constant development.

No, you will not find your textbook in the AQUINAS online library. The library does not purchase student textbooks and they are not available through AQUINAS. Students must purchase their own textbook and to ensure that students are purchasing the current and correct book, they may purchase from the publisher direct:

Hope College has a AQUINAS online library which contains print books for use in the LRC. This collection consists of supplemental course materials which cannot be checked out. The LRC is located on the second floor of the Main Campus and is staffed by a HC administrative assistant. The Campus LRC has open access to computers which has internet access and Microsoft Office applications for student use.
