STUDENT DISCLOSURE ON DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES

Hope College of Arts and Sciences (HCAS) is required to inform students whether it is authorized to enroll students in programs that offer distance education courses or a full distance education program. Hope College of Arts and Sciences is authorized to enroll students in our programs that offer residential, blended, and/or distance education. The distance education approval covers students who ONLY reside in states where the college has determined that the program meets state educational requirements for licensure or certification.

Hope College of Arts and Sciences prepares students for licensure for employment as an LPN or RN in the state of Florida. Information about the licensure requirements in the State can be found here: Florida Board of Nursing https://floridasnursing.gov/

If you are planning to apply for professional licensure/certification outside of the state of Florida, please contact that state’s licensing board to determine whether Hope College of Arts and Sciences meets the professional licensure/certification requirements in that State.

For pre-licensure distance education requirements for every state host, view the information provided by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) at https://www.ncsbn.org/nursing-regulation/education/distance-education/prelicensure-distance-education-requirements.page
